PT Mitra Prodin, manufacturer of high quality, hand-rolled cones and designer & producer of innovative cone filling device, is substantially expanding its facilities and workforce of already 2500 workers. Our head office is located at JL. Prof. I.B Mantra, Kesiman Kertalangu, Denpasar Timur, Bali.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide leadership and support the continuous improvement initiatives at the plant level
Perform work studies to analyze work systems, develop standards, allowances and improvements to existing systems, provide input for the development of functional layouts that minimize space, material transit, distance and provide flexibility for expansion
Lead projects within Operations to continuously improve the value chain including VSM and Kaizen projects
Perform time studies according MTM to enable line balancing and pull Production
Use Lean Management Tools to improve the Shop Floor as well as administrative areas
Implement 5S, Visual Management and enforce the elimination of the 8 types of waste
Work closely with Production and Supply Chain to support in building up a performance system to track the efficiency of our daily Operations
Develop and revise SOPs on each process were applicable
Prepare all divisions within Operations to be all set for a new ERP system implementation
Work with quality department on root cause analysis on customer complaints and provide input for the development of process FMEA’s and control plans for existing and potential work systems
Support SCM with tools and methods to improve Inventory Management
Assess ergonomic factors in work systems and provide solutions/design factors to minimize RMI (Repetitive Motion Injuries)
Other duties as assigned by department heads
Core Competencies / Knowledge & Skill
Required experience in implementing Continuous Improvement, Lean Management, 5S, Kanban, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping and Design;
Six Sigma experience desirable;
Project Management and Time Management;
Strong interpersonal, communication (English) and leadership skills;
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public;
