Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Define Target Markets and Target Groups (Market segmentation).
Get Market Research Data that support this market segmentation.
Define for each Target Market and Target Group the product portfolio.
Propose the preferred marketing channels to reach these target markets.
Develop a marketing strategy and strategic objectives for each Product/Market combination.
Develop an event strategy with clear objectives as part of the marketing strategy.
Develop a social media strategy and communication strategy with clear objectives as part of the marketing strategy.
Define the different brands and develop a clear brand strategy.
Develop the overall Marketing Plan (includes the tactics and actions) together with a Budget Plan.
Lead the execution of the marketing strategy.
Lead the participation in events on behalf of the company.
Manage the execution of event participation, including stand development, branding, and development of promotional materials.
Execute the brand strategy and develop further the company’s brand image by targeted interventions.
Measure brand awareness with the various target groups and take appropriate actions to enhance awareness.
Work as a team (hand in glove) with Sales and Account Management to further strengthen the company’s presence in the different markets.
Lead the execution of the Social Media Strategy (with appropriate (3rd) parties.
Measure the success of the various Social Media Channels and adjust where needed.
Take part in a cross functional team of Sales/Account Manager and New Product Development Manager to initiate and develop new products
Manage market research to gain insight in market trends, business environment, customers, products, and competitors.
Use Market Research as input to adjust the marketing/product strategies and share with Sales and Account Management.
Monitor on a monthly basis the effectiveness of execution of the Marketing Strategy and Marketing Plan (the actions) against the targets (Strategic Objectives translated into KPI’s).
Adjust the Marketing Strategy based on Market Research Data and Realization data.
Coach and mentor the team to enable them to maximize performance and support learning and development of team members.
